Deadly Tides
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Welcome to Station 88, a miner’s dream! (Well… as long as you don’t touch the water.) Collect resources while avoiding the rising deadly tides that fill the underground mines. Meet your quota and you’ll earn the privilege of a full-time job on Station 88.
Note: the ORIGINAL files are the version submitted for Brackey's Game Jam 2024. The newer files are the updated version with some critical bug fixes. The original IS playable, but if you play to the "end" it won't trigger the actual end condition.

Install instructions
Extract the executable and the .pck file. Ensure they are in the same folder. Make the executable able to be executed. Then run the executable. The game should start shortly there after.
Minimum Requirements: Vulkan and 1GB Video Memory.
Since this was a game jam optimization was not our primary focus.

Uploaded updated game files after fixing a few game-breaking bugs and the broken audio cues. There are still known bugs, but we think we fixed the worst ones (one that allowed you to cheat by duplicating your inventory contents and one that failed to catch the appropriate win/end conditions.)
