Week A Completed

This was a long and grueling week. I started off with lots of reading assignments. Then I started laying out the concept for the User Interface and quickly built that up. After the UI I started creating the shaders. The first shader was quick. The second was a little more challenging and I started to play around with Godot and the Visual Shader Language to optionally change the way the shader behaved. The third shader took a lot longer I found some bugs like the fact that Godot will not allow a # directive in visual shaders no matter what. I plan to submit a bug to hopefully get this fixed but I can also see why it will be nontrivial to address. I also started to get a little more comfortable with writing more pure shaders in Godot's Shading Language (GSL), and at converting Open GLSL to GSL. I even spent a little time reading a learning about converting shader toy to GSL. Overall a pretty productive week even if the end result does not look like much. I have definitely learned a lot.
